We talk about where he's been, what he's doing and where he's going. In more general terms we also discuss the challenges presently facing small business operators. Episode 4 — IceTV 24/04/2009
Written by Matthew JC Powell Thu Apr 23 2009, 11:10pm
MJCP and Seamus Byrne talk to Marc Edwards from IceTV, mere hours after the High Court handed down its judgment against the Nine Network, finding that IceTV had not infringed Nine's copyright. They discuss the case, as well as IceTV's methodologies, the implications of the decision for IceTV's future activities and what might happen when the National Broadband Network becomes reality. And no, I have no idea why Seamus was recording from a large cave.
IceTV — Get more info about the electronic program guide.
IceTV v Nine Network — Read the court judgment.
Midnight Update — Check out Seamus's video podcast four nights a week; you guess which four.
